WKO会長から皆様へのメッセージ LETTER FROM THE WKO PRESIDENT

親愛なる世界組手連盟（ＷＫＯ）メンバーの皆様、武道仲間並びにご友人の皆様へ 思えば我々は、2007年の設立以来長い道のりを歩んで参りました。記憶に残る数々の 瞬間、そして並々ならぬ　世界組手連盟の成長ぶりを目の当たりに味わうことができました。 世界中で約600百万人を越える修練者を　　代表するメンバー（会員）の皆様が一つとな って、この世界組手連盟（ＷＫＯ）を造り上げているのであります。 これこそが、世界組手連盟を世界で最大規模の格闘技組織の一つにすることを可能にして いる最も重要な秘訣であり、要そのものなのであります。 2013年初頭に、会員の皆様の期待に応えるべく世界空手連盟は、世界の格闘技界に 置ける最前線へ向かって進撃を開始します。それは2013年と来るべき年に狙いを定め、 最大限の成功を期す為の地固めを行うことから始まるのであります。　 　　　
Dear members of the World Kumite Organization, fellow martial artists and friends.
We have come a long way since setting up the WKO in 2007, enjoyed for ever memorable moments and witnessed extraordinary growth: Together, We – the member organizations forming the WKO – represent today millions of Karateka around the world.

This makes The World Kumite Organization one of the largest growing martial arts organizations in the world. To make most of the success of the WKO for its members, in early 2013 the WKO embarked on a journey and laid the groundwork to reach new frontiers in the world of marital arts. From 2013 to coming years the WKO aims were and are:
1. 空手発祥の地である日本の沖縄に、世界組手連盟（ＷＫＯ）本部を設立し、競技場も併設 し運営すること。
Open and operate the WKO Honbu and Fight Center in Okinawa Japan, the birthplace of Karate which was completed in 2015.

2. 日本、欧州、中東、ブラジル、豪州、タイで、世界組手連盟（ＷＫＯ）の国際大会を 開催し、さらにその回数を増やせるよう各国々での有力なスポンサーを出来る限り多く開拓し続け ること。
Increase the number of international WKO tournaments in Japan, Europe, the Middle East, Brazil, Australia, Iran and Thailand with strong support for the local promoters and governments.

3. 参加選手の技量選別と開催地の整理統合を合理的に行い、第一級水準の世界組 手チャンピョンシップを3年に一回、ワールドカップは2年に一回、その割合で世界 大会をグローバルに展開し、フリースタイルのフルコンタクト空手トーナメントとして は世界で最大級の成功を目指すこと。Consolidate and market the World Kumite Championship held every 2 years and the World Cup held alternate years as the most successful and prestigious open style full contact martial art tournaments in the world.

4. 2024年までに、欧州で開催されるＷＫＯワールドカップの広報を行うこと。Introduce the WKO World Cup Europe by 2024.

5. 最高レベルの館長や師範クラスを日本や他の国々から招いて世界中でセミナーを 頻繁に実施し、参加者のフルコンコンタクト空手に対する知識や経験を豊かにし、 その技量水準を高めること。
Run frequent international seminars by top ranked masters from Japan and other countries to help increase the experience, fight standard and knowledge of full contact karate throughout the world.

6. 国際的な集中強化トレーニングキャンプ（合宿）を、日本とタイにあるＷＫＯ本部で実施す ること。
Hold international training camps at the WKO Honbu in Japan and Thailand.

7. ＷＫＯのメンバーとその門下生に、ＷＫＯの特典カードを発行すること。Introduce an international standard for full contact karate referees.

8. 身近な名前と感じて貰えるまでに、ＷＫＯのチャンピョン達（優勝者達）を盛んに 喧伝すること。
Establish a martial art online community to facilitate access to information from the WKO network and communication among martial art enthusiasts.

9. 格闘技用に特化したエネルギー・ドリンク（栄養ドリンク）とプロテインの宣伝を繰り広げ ること。
Promote WKO champions to become household names.

10. フルコンタクト空手のレフリー用に、遵守すべきルールの国際基準と必要事項を 国際的に広報通知すること。Introduce products such as energy drinks and protein powders specifically designed for the martial artist.

11. 日本の青年達を通じて空手についての広報活動を行い、世界の中でフルコンタクト 空手が普及していない未開拓地域を無くすこと。Promote Karate on a global platform with major focus on the youth.

12. 以上の全目的は、既に力強く発展している最中にあるＷＫＯを、組織的にさらに後方支援す ることで、我々関係者全てがＷＫＯに誇りを持てる様な意識を効果的に醸だせるようにすることを 意図しております。All of these aims will support the already strongly growing organization WKO to become something we can all be proud of.

13. 皆様方のご支援により、ＷＫＯはさらなる発展を続け、皆様と目標を共有し武の道を愛す る情熱により、我々は成長と成功を皆様と共に収めることでありましょう。　With your support the WKO will continue to grow and therein lays your strength. United by our common goals and love for the path of Budo we will grow and succeed together.
